The film is a subtle mix between an adventure film and a documentary. It follows the route carried from Beijing to Lhasa in space and pays tribute to Évariste Huc. Made shots in 2006 during the trip alongside images of unpublished archives of the Congregation of the Mission of Lazarists and the Foreign Missions of Paris. The comparison between the archival footage associated with extracts from the stories of Évariste Huc, and guided contemporary shots cleverly show the evolution of these regions up to our days.

The original music will complete to carry you on a journey out of standards within the confines of “the Middle Kingdom”.
